Måsøval reported first-quarter operational EBIT of NOK 28 million (€2.60 million) on revenues of NOK 510 million (€47.43 million), as improved biological performance and higher biomass supported increased production and upgraded harvest guidance.
The group harvested 4,712 gutted weight tonnes (GWT) during the quarter.
Sea production totalled 8,347 tonnes whole fish equivalent (WFE), up from 7,030 tonnes in the same period last year.
Måsøval said it entered the second quarter with record-high biomass levels, strong growth rates and solid fish health conditions.
The company increased its full-year 2026 harvest guidance from 27,200 GWT to 28,000 GWT.
Superior share improved to 85 per cent in the quarter, up from 62 per cent in the first quarter of 2025.
The company also said it expects cost reductions across all segments and regions during the second quarter.
“The increased sea production reflects the structured and dedicated work carried out by our teams across fish health, biosecurity, improved smolt quality and operational excellence,” said chief executive Helge Kvalvik.
