MD of Waitrose salmon supplier steps down

Niall MacDonald was Managing Director of Aquascot. John Housego will now pick up role

In a report on Companies House, Scottish company Aquascot posts that Niall MacDonald has stepped down as director.

MacDonald was with the Alness-based (Scotland), supplier to the British high-end retailers Waitrose and Ocado for four years, according to his Linkedin profile.

An Aquascot spokesperson told SalmonBusiness said that MacDonald’s was based arpund him wanting to spend more time with his family.

Independent non – executive director on the Aquascot Trust board John Housego has now agreed to accept the position of Managing Director of Aquascot. Housego will take up the role on March 9th.
