All three FSV boats are equipped with electric or hybrid propulsion.
On Saturday, operator and supplier of freight and service vessels FSV Group and salmon producer Mowi celebrated the christening of four vessels.
The new boats which include FSV’s Multi Commander, Multi North, and Multi Supporter, along with Mowi’s feed fleet vessel, Bjørn Jens, were christened at a ceremony on Karivika quay in Sandnessjøen on Saturday.
The event was hosted by local celebrity, Arne Hjeltnes, a television personality and former communications manager at Mowi, according to local newspaper HavPuls.
These service vessels will enter a contract with Mowi in Region Nord. All three FSV boats are equipped with electric or hybrid propulsion.
