Norwegian Seafood Council sets Norway–UK Seafood Summit for London in February.

The Norwegian Seafood Council will host the Norway–UK Seafood Summit on 24 February 2026 at Fishmongers’ Hall in London, focusing on market outlooks and industry debate across key seafood categories including whitefish, salmon, coldwater prawns and cod.

The council said the programme will include market and trade updates from organisations including McKinsey, Worldpanel by Numerator and the UK Seafood Federation, alongside sessions on sustainability, innovation and the role of blue foods in global food security. Panel discussions will also cover value chain perspectives, including retail and foodservice, with contributions from the fish and chip sector.

Bjørn-Erik Stabell, UK director at the Norwegian Seafood Council, said the event is intended to connect Norwegian and UK stakeholders and provide forward-looking market intelligence.

Named speakers include Alexander Andersen (McKinsey), Joe Shaw Roberts (Worldpanel by Numerator), Dave Parker (Sainsbury’s), Simon Dwyer (UK Seafood Federation), Catarina Martins (Mowi), Christian Riber (Norcod) and Jack Bobo (Rothman Family Institute for Food Studies, UCLA), alongside chefs and operators.

Registration details are available on the Norwegian Seafood Council website.
