Mowi to elect Nova Sea’s former chair to board, Melhuus to step down.
Mowi will hold an extraordinary general meeting on 20 November 2025 to elect Aino Olaisen, former chair and owner of Nova Sea AS, to the board of directors following completion of Mowi’s acquisition of Nova Sea.
The nomination committee recommends Olaisen be elected as a new board member, replacing Kristian Melhuus. The committee also proposes that board member Leif Teksum be elected as deputy chairman. Further details are set out in the nomination committee’s proposal.
Mowi said the notice of meeting has been issued. The company added that the information is subject to the disclosure requirements pursuant to section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
