Mowi expands US retail footprint with launch at Sedano’s supermarkets in South Florida.

Mowi has secured new shelf space at Sedano’s, the largest Hispanic-owned supermarket chain in the United States, bringing its premium pre-packed salmon products to South Florida consumers.

The offering includes fresh, skin-packed cuts of Atlantic salmon under the Mowi brand, positioned as a restaurant-quality option for at-home consumption. The company confirmed the rollout in an Instagram update last week, saying: “Mowi Salmon has officially swum into your favorite Sedano’s stores,” encouraging customers to “stop by the seafood section… and discover your new go-to salmon.”

Sedano’s operates more than 30 stores across South Florida, serving a diverse customer base. The partnership marks a further step in Mowi’s US retail expansion strategy, which has included growth in mainstream and specialty grocery chains alongside its direct-to-consumer ambitions.
