EU Commission clears Mowi’s acquisition of Nova Sea.
The European Commission has approved Mowi’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Nova Sea AS, the company confirmed in a stock exchange announcement on Friday.
The decision follows Mowi’s agreement, announced on 30 January 2025, to increase its ownership in Nova Sea from 49 percent to 95 percent.
Approval from the Norwegian Competition Authority remains pending before the transaction can be finalised.
The disclosure was made in accordance with section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
