Mowi reports Q1 2025 harvest of 108,000 tonnes.
Mowi harvested 108,000 tonnes gutted weight equivalent (GWT) of salmon in the first quarter of 2025, in line with previous guidance and up from 96,500 tonnes in Q1 2024. The largest contribution came from Norway, with 62,000 tonnes harvested, followed by Scotland (17,500 tonnes), Chile (14,000 tonnes), Canada (5,000 tonnes), the Faroes (4,000 tonnes), Iceland (3,000 tonnes), and Ireland (2,500 tonnes).
Group operational EBIT was approximately €214 million (NOK 2,497 million), compared with €201 million (NOK 2,288 million) in the same period last year. The blended farming cost fell to €5.89 per kg, down from €6.05 per kg in Q1 2024.
Operational EBIT per kg by region was €2.50 in Norway, €1.80 in Scotland, €0.90 in Chile, €0.80 in Canada, €0.95 in Ireland, €2.75 in the Faroes, and €0.00 in Iceland.
Operational EBIT in the Consumer Products segment was €33 million, while operational EBITDA in Feed was €7 million. Net interest-bearing debt at the end of the quarter was approximately €1.89 billion, excluding IFRS 16 effects.
