Mowi has issued NOK 4,500 million ($441 million) in new senior unsecured green bonds across two tranches, following its stock exchange notice on 25 November.

The company placed NOK 3,500 million ($343 million) in five-year floating-rate notes at 3-month Nibor plus 1.10 percent, and NOK 1,000 million ($98 million) in five-year fixed-rate notes at 4.95 percent. The full amount, including coupons, will be swapped into floating-rate euro exposure. Mowi said the transaction was well oversubscribed.

Proceeds will be allocated to eligible projects under Mowi’s Green and Sustainability-Linked Financing Framework from May 2023.

Settlement for both tranches is scheduled for 5 December. Mowi intends to apply for listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Danske Bank, DNB, Carnegie and Nordea acted as joint global coordinators, with ABN AMRO, Crédit Agricole CIB, Rabobank and SEB serving as joint lead managers.
