Chilean salmon farmer Multi X has announced that Jorge Goles Niemann, currently serving as Business Development Manager, will assume the position of General Manager of Multi X USA starting June 1, 2024.
Niemann will succeed Ricardo Grunwald Aravena, who has served as interim General Manager for the past year while continuing his role as Director of Multi X.
Niemann joined Multi X in September 2023 and holds a degree in Commercial Engineering and a Master of Science in Innovation and Design from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He previously held significant commercial roles in the salmon farming sector, including positions at Yadran and Australis Seafoods.
In his new role, Niemann will lead the company in its most important market, focusing on maximizing the return on raw materials through effective design, planning, organization, and supervision of Multi X resources. He will coordinate closely with the central office in Puerto Montt to ensure efficient operations and optimal results in line with company policies.
