The Puerto Montt-based company delivered an operational EBIT of USD 18.8 million in Q1 2018, a steep fall from USD 35.3 million in Q1 2017.

According to the company the drop was due to lower sales prices. Also the Q1 2018 revenue was affected by the same reason, however only slightly, down from USD 126.8 million to USD 121.8 million.

The company achieved an EBIT per kilogram of USD 0.95, which was down from the USD 2.21 achieved in the same span of 2017.
