New CEO takes the helm at Peruvian fishmeal producer

Delgado-Aparicio will assume his role as CEO on June 10th.

Gustavo Delgado-Aparicio has been appointed as the new CEO of Pesquera Diamante, replacing Pablo Trapunsky. He brings over 28 years of experience in the financial industry, having previously served as General Manager at Banco Pichincha and BBVA Peru.

This leadership change is part of Pesquera Diamante’s strategy to further strengthen its market position and reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Trapunsky will remain with the company until June 30th to ensure a smooth and beneficial transition.

Delgado-Aparicio has a background in finance and holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a postgraduate degree in digital business from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also completed a program in Customer Centricity at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

“With this appointment, we reaffirm our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the fishing industry and continuing to be a leader in promoting sustainable fishing practices,” the company wrote in a press release announcing the appointment.
