Tregidga has previously held the position of acting CEO at the company.
New Zealand King Salmon has announced the appointment of Graeme Tregidga as Chief Commercial Officer, effective October 23, 2023.
Previously serving as GM Sales for New Zealand King Salmon, Tregidga had also held the position of Acting CEO from November 1, 2022, to August 4, 2023, prior to the appointment of Carl Carrington as CEO.

In September, the company announced significantly improved earnings for the first half of the year, having turned a NZD 10.7 million ($6.3 million) profit, in contrast to a NZD 12.7 million ($7.5 million) loss during the same period the previous year.

The positive result was attributed to successful strategies implemented to reduce mortalities at its salmon farms, overcoming challenges posed by warming sea temperatures.
