Nomad Foods appoints Dominic Brisby as CEO-elect as Stéfan Descheemaeker prepares to retire.

Nomad Foods has named Dominic Brisby as Executive President, CEO-elect, and member of the board, effective 3 November 2025. Brisby will work alongside current CEO Stéfan Descheemaeker until his retirement on 1 January 2026, after which Brisby will assume the role of chief executive. Descheemaeker will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

Brisby joins from Flora Food Group, where he served as President for North America and Europe. He previously held senior roles at Imperial Brands, including Interim Co-CEO and Regional President.

Descheemaeker has led Nomad Foods since its founding in 2015, overseeing nine consecutive years of revenue and adjusted EBITDA growth through 2024. Adjusted earnings per share are expected to have approximately doubled between 2016 and 2025 under his tenure.

“I am proud of what we have built at Nomad Foods,” Descheemaeker said. “After ten years as CEO, I believe now is the appropriate time to transition to new leadership.”

Co-chairman and founder Noam Gottesman thanked Descheemaeker for his decade of leadership and welcomed Brisby, describing him as “a leader of impressive caliber” with a strong record of value creation.

Brisby said he looked forward to “unlocking the company’s full growth potential and delivering attractive returns to stakeholders.”

Nomad Foods is Europe’s largest frozen food company, with brands including Birds Eye, Findus, iglo, Ledo and Frikom.
