Norway exported 21,292 tonnes of fresh or chilled salmon in the period March 23–29, according to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).
The volume represents an increase of 16.3 percent compared with the previous week, when exports totalled 18,308 tonnes.
In addition, Norway exported 736 tonnes of frozen salmon during the same period.
The data are based on export statistics compiled by Statistics Norway from reports to the Norwegian Seafood Council.
