Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) is 68 per cent owned by the fish farming company NTS, which is currently the core of an ongoing bidding war. On Monday, SalMar submitted a bid of NOK 120 per share, NOK 10 higher than Mowi’s previous bid.

On the basis that all investors shall have the best possible access to relevant information, NRS has therefore chosen to publish its results for the fourth quarter of 2021 eight days before the planned release date.
“The group’s total operating revenues in the 4th quarter of 2021 amounted to NOK 1,495.5 million (€150 million). This gave an operational EBIT for the 4th quarter of 2021 of NOK 101.6 million (€10 million), while profit before tax in the 4th quarter of 2021 was NOK -10.7 million (-€1 million),” NRS wrote in a statement before the stock exchange opened on Tuesday morning.
Final figures for the fourth quarter will be presented in connection with NRS’s quarterly reporting on 23 February 2022. The final figures may deviate from the preliminary figures, the report stated.
