Land-based salmon farmer Nordic Aqua Partners has appointed Tom Johan Austrheim as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Austrheim succeeds Hjalti Hvitklett, who will take on the role of Finance Director with an enhanced focus on financial planning, compliance, governance, and projects.
Tom Johan Austrheim previously served as CFO at Edda Wind and has held multiple CFO positions throughout his career.
Nordic Aqua Partners is currently transitioning from Euronext Growth to the Oslo Stock Exchange main list. The strengthening of the CFO department is aligned with the company’s medium- and long-term growth plans, including the goal to achieve a production capacity of 20,000 tons by 2028, with the potential for further growth to 50,000 tons at the same site.
