Norwegian salmon exporter Polar Quality has appointed Erlend Fransplass to a sales and logistics role, effective 1 June.
Fransplass joins from Bodø-based sushi restaurant OHMA, where he served as general manager.
In his new position, he will support the sale of Norwegian salmon to restaurants, retailers and buyers in international markets.
Polar Quality expects to export around 40,000 tonnes of Norwegian salmon this year, according to the company.
