Ragna Heggebø joins INAQ as senior adviser.
INAQ has appointed Ragna Heggebø as senior adviser, effective 1 August 2025.
Heggebø joins from her role as Global R&D Manager at Grieg Seafood. A trained veterinarian with a PhD in veterinary pathology from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (now NMBU), she brings broad experience from both public and private sector aquaculture research.
She has previously held positions at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute, EWOS Innovation (now Cargill), and Mowi, where she served as Group Manager Feed and Fish Performance.
“I’ve followed INAQ’s development over the years and find their interdisciplinary approach particularly interesting,” Heggebø said in a press release. “I look forward to contributing to projects that move the seafood industry forward.”
Nina Santi, CEO of INAQ, said Heggebø’s expertise in fish health, feed development, and research is in high demand among clients. With her appointment, INAQ will also establish a physical presence in Bergen.
