Even with restructuring processes in a changing market, ScaleAQ has in a short time positioned itself globally with a new brand. Now the plan is ready with a new strategy and an organisation that is rigged for the future.

“We have reviewed and improved our processes, anchored new culture, and developed a new strategy for the company. This at the same time as we continuously develop and deliver products with high customer value,” Geir Myklebust, CEO of ScaleAQ, said in a press release.

“Sales and Markets are now united in an organisation that cooperates closely with our various professional environments. The strength of ScaleAQ lies in the close cooperation between Market, Development, Engineering and Project, which together ensures quality in everything from less simple sales to complex projects and deliveries, he added.

Advisor and service
“Strategically, we organize ourselves around the advisory role because we want to be close to our customers. A strong core team with in-depth knowledge of farming and aquaculture will cultivate an already strong product expertise and equip us to stand shoulder to shoulder with our customers,” said Myklebust.

Furthermore, Myklebust pointed to Service as an important priority area.

“We have been working on new concepts and service points to strengthen and improve service levels. With highly competent service personnel, ScaleAQ shall be close to our customers locally in all regions. We have therefore established several strong centres for our operational activities along the coast, such as production, service, indoor service and warehouse. In addition, we have entered into strategic partnerships, both within Service and Development,” he said.

Innovative
ScaleAQ said that it wants to be in the driver’s seat in the development of innovative products and solutions that are both cost-effective for customers and meet society’s requirements for sustainable growth.

“It is with this in the eye that we recently employed the two resources Sustainability Director and Head of Biology, both of which will work closely with Market and our different professional environments,” he continued.

“We see great opportunities and synergies between software and hardware, where in recent years we have developed a good digital platform with open APIs. We will continue in this direction with a strong focus on data flow and communication between hardware and software, which will provide our customers with better and more accurate decision-making.

“Another important area has been to identify and strengthen the interface between our various products and solutions. We will improve and build more seamless interfaces, which in turn will provide more efficient and safer installations. This work, together with a focus on optimisation and control of the cage environment, is particularly important for our commitment to solutions to more exposed aquaculture,” said Myklebust.
