Nauplius Workboats launches third vessel for Scottish Sea Farms

Dutch shipbuilder Nauplius Workboats has launched its third vessel for Scottish Sea Farms, marking the company’s 29th newbuild.

The hull, constructed by SupTech Construction, was launched with the assistance of Bonn & Mees’ crane vessel Matador and will now undergo outfitting at Nauplius Workboats’ facilities in Delfzijl.

Once completed, the vessel will be delivered to Scottish Sea Farms’ operations in the Orkney Islands, where it will support the company’s aquaculture activities.

Nauplius Workboats, based in Groningen, specialises in designing and building workboats for aquaculture and marine industries.
