Scottish Sea Farms head fish vet appointed to Defra advisory board

Ronnie Soutar appointed to Veterinary Products Committee.

Lerøy-SalMar owned Scottish Sea Farms has Ronnie Soutar has been appointed by the Secretary of State Priti Patel MP to serve on the Veterinary Products Committee, the British Government reports.

The Veterinary Products Committee (VPC) advises Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) on veterinary medicinal products and animal feed additives.

Soutar alongside two other veterinary surgeons will on the committee from January until 31 December 2023.
