Overturned salmon truck forced E6 closure.
The E6 near Namsskogan, close to the Trøndelag-Nordland border, was temporarily closed on Friday after a truck carrying 20 tons of salmon overturned, blocking both lanes.
The accident, which occurred as the truck was traveling southbound, led to a full closure of the highway. No serious injuries were reported, though police confirmed that the foreign driver was taken to the emergency room as a precaution.
“The vehicle was lying across the road, physically blocking the entire E6,” said police operations manager Ketil Stene at the time.
Authorities worked to remove the vehicle, and the road was reopened later that morning.
