Danielsson to step down as Bewi CFO after more than a decade in post.

Packaging, components and insulation supplier Bewi has launched a CFO succession process after Marie Danielsson informed the company that she intends to step down from the role following more than 10 years as chief financial officer.

Danielsson will remain with the group in a different position and will continue as CFO until a successor has been appointed and is fully operational. The search for her replacement has been initiated with immediate effect.

CEO Christian Bekken said Danielsson has been a key figure in BEWI’s development, overseeing day-to-day financial operations alongside the company’s listing on Euronext Oslo Børs, a series of transactions and the securing of group financing. He added that the company is pleased she will continue working at BEWI.

BEWI is a European provider of packaging, components and insulation solutions, with a business model focused on circular production, recycling and energy-efficient products for the building sector. The company has set targets for profitable growth and for reducing emissions across its operations and customer offering.
