Heidenreich expands water and wastewater preparedness offering
Norwegian wholesaler Heidenreich has strengthened its water and wastewater business through investments in regional warehouses, expanded inventories of critical infrastructure products, and additional technical staff, as it targets growth in a market facing rising climate-related stress and ageing networks.
The company said it has established dedicated regional warehouses to improve response times for municipalities and contractors, alongside maintaining full assortments across its branch network. The strategy is aimed at supporting both planned upgrades and emergency repairs related to flooding, stormwater management, drinking water, and wastewater systems.
As part of the expansion, Heidenreich has created a new Key Account Manager role focused on large customers. Andreas Køste will assume the position from 1 March 2026, joining from Sweco Norge, where he worked as a senior water and wastewater engineer.
Heidenreich has also launched an internal training programme, HTI Akademiet, to strengthen technical competence across sales teams in cooperation with selected suppliers.
The company said it expects demand for products to remain resilient in 2026 despite a challenging outlook for the wider construction market.
