UK supermarket chain Lidl has issued a “do not eat” warning over concerns about a possible health risk, recalling its Select and Go Sushi Box Salmon and Shrimp.

The product contains crustaceans, fish, mustard, sesame, soya, egg, wheat (gluten), milk, and sulphites which are not emphasised on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease or an allergy to the ingredients not mentioned on the label.

Those who have an intolerance or sensitivity are advised to not eat the product and, instead, dispose of it or return it to a Lidl store for a full refund.

Lidl GB is recalling the 330g packs with use by dates up to and including 11th October from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
