Njord orders third qellboat from Aas Mek. Verksted.
Njord Aquashipping has signed long-term contracts with Mowi Norge for two wellboats under construction at Aas Mek. Verksted and placed an order for a third vessel at the same yard.
The first vessel, Njord Hidra, is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2027, followed by Njord Stad in Q2 2027. Both will operate under extended agreements with Mowi.
The newly ordered third vessel, also to be built at Aas Mek. Verksted, will be delivered in 2027, meaning the yard will complete three vessels for Njord that year.
Each 4,700 cbm wellboat will be designed for gentle fish handling, efficient delousing and biological control to meet modern aquaculture standards.
