Alsaker Group earned €50 million last year

The Alsaker Group, which is the group company of Alsaker Fjordbruk, achieved a profit before tax of NOK 517 million (€50 million) in 2021.

With a turnover of NOK 2,032 million (€200 million), this gives a profit margin of 25.4 percent, the company wrote in a statement.

In 2021, the group produced almost 37,000 tonnes of salmon, compared to 40,000 tonnes the year before. The harvest volume was unchanged compared with the previous year.

Alsaker is 100 percent owned by Gerhard Alsaker.

Alsaker is a vertically integrated farming group with salmon production. In 2021, the group operated four smolt plants, 24 food fish licenses, a harvest operation and an aquaculture center. The production in the group takes place in 14 Norwegian municipalities. At the end of 2021, there were 253 permanent employees in the Alsaker Group.

Book equity in the group at the end of the year was NOK 1,806 million (€178 million) – giving an equity ratio of 58 percent.
