Andfjord Salmon has awarded a €4.6 million contract to Repstad, a wholly owned subsidiary of Endúr, to complete quay works at the company’s Kvalnes facility on Andøya.

Work has started immediately and is expected to take around six months. The contract includes dredging, blasting, rock fill, avalanche protection, barge-based stone transport and breakwater construction, Byggeindustrien reports.

Repstad takes over parts of the project previously handled by AF Hæhre & Contur, whose contract with Andfjord was terminated following a dispute over the development.

In December, Andfjord filed claims exceeding €92 million against AF Hæhre & Contur, alleging gross negligence and deliberate breach of contract. Lars Hæhre, chairman of Infra Group, which owns the contractor, rejected the allegations and said the project had been affected by repeated client-driven changes and additional orders.

Repstad said it had already worked with Andfjord on adjacent infrastructure projects over the past four months.
