Atlantic Sapphire: reports higher harvest volumes in Q1

Land-based salmon farmer Atlantic Sapphire reported a harvest volume of 1,504 metric tons (head-on gutted, HOG) in the first quarter of 2026, up from 1,183 metric tons in the previous quarter.

Net biomass gain in the period reached 1,859 metric tons (round live weight, RLW), compared with 1,683 metric tons in Q4 2025. Standing biomass at the end of March was 3,420 metric tons RLW, broadly stable versus 3,437 metric tons at the end of the prior quarter.

Average harvest weight increased to 3.2 kg HOG, from 2.9 kg in Q4 2025.

The company achieved an average sales price of USD 9.32 per kg HOG in the quarter, compared with USD 8.28 per kg in the previous period.

Atlantic Sapphire operates a land-based salmon farming facility in Homestead, Florida. Its Phase 1 facility has an annual harvest capacity of approximately 7,500 to 8,500 metric tons HOG. The company is progressing a Phase 2 expansion targeting total annual production capacity of 25,000 metric tons, with a longer-term ambition to exceed 100,000 metric tons.
