Bakkafrost has reported its Q3 2024 harvest volumes, showing an increase in total harvest compared to the same period last year.
The total harvest for Q3 2024 reached 27,000 tonnes, compared to 20,800 tonnes in Q3 2023, marking a significant rise of 29.8%.
The Faroese operations reported a harvest of 21,600 tonnes in Q3 2024, up from 16,700 tonnes in the same period last year, representing a 29.3% increase.
In Scotland, Bakkafrost harvested 5,400 tonnes in Q3 2024, up from last year’s 4,100 tonnes, an increase of 31.7%. This reverses the nearly 50% year-on-year decline reported in 2023.
Feed sales also saw an uptick in Q3 2024, with 41,500 tonnes sold, an increase of 15.6% from the 35,900 tonnes sold in Q3 2023.
