Lerøy Seafood Group harvested 39,900 tonnes gutted weight (GWT) of salmon and trout in the first quarter of 2026, up from 38,200 GWT in the same period last year, the company said in a trading update on Tuesday.
The figures exclude harvest volumes from Scottish Seafarms.
By region, Lerøy Aurora reported harvest volumes of 8,300 tonnes, compared with 7,100 tonnes in the first quarter of 2025. Lerøy Midt harvested 16,000 tonnes, slightly below the 16,400 tonnes reported a year earlier.
Lerøy Sjøtroll harvested 15,700 tonnes in the quarter, including 6,100 tonnes of trout. In the first quarter of 2025 the region harvested 14,800 tonnes, of which 9,500 tonnes were trout.
Wild catch volumes in the group’s Lerøy Havfisk division fell year on year. Total catch volumes reached 14,300 tonnes in the first quarter of 2026, compared with 19,000 tonnes in the same period last year. Of the total, 2,700 tonnes were cod, down from 3,600 tonnes in the first quarter of 2025.
The company said its full first-quarter report will be released on 12 May at 06:30 CET.
The trading update was issued in accordance with disclosure requirements under Section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
