Lars Erling Krogh has been appointed as the new CEO of Norway-based seafood-processing, -handling, and equipment provider MMC First Process, effective Monday, September 9.
Outgoing CEO, Petter Leon Fauske, will transition to lead Business Development and continue as a member of the company’s executive leadership team, according to a press release from the company.
“Petter Leon has been an exceptional leader, elevating MMC First Process to a new level over the past five years, making it one of the most innovative and profitable companies in the supplier industry,” said Chairman Pål Brynsrud in the release.
Under Fauske’s leadership, MMC First Process has grown into a billion-kroner company with significant growth potential. Fauske will now focus on the company’s Processing area.
Lars Erling Krogh expressed excitement about his new role, noting the company’s mission to improve fish welfare and promote sustainability in the aquaculture industry.
