Redox acquires compressor specialist Trykkluftservice.

Redox AS has agreed to acquire fellow aquaculture industry supplier Trykkluftservice AS, strengthening its service offering in oxygen, water treatment and compressed air systems.

Trykkluftservice, founded in 1980, is based in Møre og Romsdal and specialises in compressors and compressed air systems. The company has completed more than 750 compressor installations and will continue to operate as a separate entity following the transaction. Jan Atle Yndestad will remain general manager, and all eight employees will stay with the business.

Redox said the acquisition will provide customers with access to a broader range of services, shorter response times and increased technical expertise across oxygen systems, vacuum systems and compressed air solutions. Both companies serve aquaculture customers as well as land-based industries.

Asbjørn Skaro, managing director of Redox, said the combination would allow the companies to deliver more comprehensive solutions and improve system uptime for customers.

The deal gives Redox a physical presence in the Sunnmøre region on Norway’s west coast, complementing its existing operations in Nordmøre and Trøndelag. The company said this would improve proximity to customers and expand its team of technicians.

Trykkluftservice reported revenue of around NOK 20 million in 2025. Redox is acquiring 100% of the shares, though the parties have not disclosed financial terms.

Redox supplies oxygen, cleaning and water treatment systems designed to improve fish welfare and biosecurity while reducing chemical use. The company is majority owned by Bluefront Equity.
