Johansen takes acting CEO role at Polar Quality.
Rune Johansen has been appointed acting CEO of Polar Quality, the export company within the Salten Aqua group.
Johansen confirmed the move in a LinkedIn post on Monday. He will combine the role with his current positions as chief investor relations officer at Gigante Salmon and chief financial officer at Salten Aqua.
Polar Quality handles export activities for the Salten Aqua group, connecting the company’s salmon production with international markets.
Johansen said the appointment will provide closer insight into the downstream part of the salmon value chain, from production through to global sales, while complementing his work with investors at Gigante Salmon.
He will continue to serve as CFO of Salten Aqua alongside the new responsibilities.
