\Tersan Shipyard has contracted TMC Compressors to supply the marine compressed air system for a krill fishing vessel currently being reconstructed at the Turkish yard.
Under the agreement, TMC will deliver a compressed air package including an instrument air compressor. The company did not disclose the value of the contract.
The vessel is being rebuilt for Norway-based Aker QRILL Company, an Antarctic krill harvesting company that produces krill-based ingredients for aquaculture, animal feed and nutraceutical markets.
The vessel is undergoing extensive modifications at Tersan Shipyard, including a 25-metre extension and additional technological upgrades.
Delivery of the compressed air system is scheduled for 2026.
