Blumar’s CFO Manuel Gallardo will retire in May after 15 years with the company, the Chilean seafood producer said at its 2025 results investor presentation.
As part of the transition, the corporate administration and finance division will be split into two roles. Alan Hornig will become CFO for the salmon division, based in Puerto Montt, while Carlos Sepúlveda will take the equivalent role for the fishing division.
CEO Gerardo Balbontín acknowledged Gallardo’s contribution during the presentation. Addressing investors for the final time in the role, Gallardo said the incoming CFOs were highly capable and urged shareholders not to be concerned by the transition.
