Mowi chair Ørjan Svanevik resigns with immediate effect.

Mowi has announced that Ørjan Svanevik has resigned from his position as Chair of the Board, effective 27 February 2026.

The company said the resignation follows Svanevik’s termination of his employment with Seatankers Management, an associated company of Geveran Trading Co. Ltd. No further details were provided.

The nomination committee has been informed of the decision and thanked Svanevik for his service. The remaining board members will continue to constitute a quorum.

Vice Chair Leif Teksum has been appointed Intermediate Chair.

Teksum joined Mowi’s board in 2024. He has more than 30 years of experience at DNB, where he was responsible for the seafood sector for a period, and has served on the boards of Yara International, Selvaag Gruppen, Nordic Trustee and Rana Gruber.

Mowi is the world’s largest producer of Atlantic salmon and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker MOWI. The board change comes at a time when the group, like other major producers, is navigating biological challenges in several farming regions alongside regulatory and market volatility in key export markets.

The company said the announcement was made pursuant to section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
