This isn’t the first time the worlds of LEGO and aquaculture have collided to stunning effect. In 2020, Danish aquaculture measuring equipment supplier OxyGuard built a model land-based salmon farming facility made entirely from LEGO bricks.
The company built the model of the facility to show how its measuring, monitoring and control system could be adapted to a land-based farming operation.
The facility included 180 light diodes to represent the water quality sensors, feeding machines, water treatment pumps, oxygen cones, UV systems, ozone generators and more.

Merging the worlds of aquaculture, shipbuilding, and LEGO, Odland has meticulously assembled a LEGO replica of Lovundlaks workboat “Salthammer”, complete with details that would make even the most seasoned sailor do a double-take.
