Liechtenstein-based IFM Independent Fund Management AG has disclosed control of 12.48% of the voting rights in Hofseth BioCare, according to a notification filed with Oslo Børs.

The holding, reported as of 30 June, is based on Hofseth BioCare’s 395,081,030 outstanding shares.

IFM said it holds the voting rights in its capacity as fund manager and trustee for two investment vehicles managed by Bonafide Wealth Management: the Bonafide Global Fish Fund, which invests in listed companies across the seafood value chain, and the Bonafide Investment Fund – HBC II, a specialist fund focused on Hofseth BioCare.

Hofseth BioCare develops ingredients from salmon processing by-products, including proteins, marine oils and calcium products for the nutrition, health and animal feed markets.

The company is listed on Oslo Børs under the ticker HBC.

Under Norwegian securities rules, investors must notify the market when holdings cross specified ownership thresholds. The 12.48% stake places the Bonafide-managed funds among Hofseth BioCare’s largest shareholders.
