Nordic Aqua Partners harvested 1,362 tonnes head-on gutted (HOG) of Atlantic salmon in the second quarter of 2026, the company said in a disclosure to the Oslo Børs.
The company reached full run-rate production for Stages 1 and 2 combined at its Recirculating Aquaculture System farm in Ningbo, China.
Average harvest weight was 4.4 kg HOG, equal to 5.3 kg live weight, with a superior rate of 96%. Harvest volume was weighted toward the end of the quarter.
First-half harvest totalled 2,133 tonnes HOG at the same average weight and a 95% superior rate.
Farming production reached 2,294 tonnes in the quarter, bringing total biomass to 5,644 tonnes. That figure corresponds to full capacity for Stages 1 and 2.
Nordic Aqua reported good fish health, no significant maturation and high survival rates. First-half production came to 4,455 tonnes.
The company has transferred fish into all grow-out RAS units for Stage 2, which is close to completion. First harvest from Stage 2 fish is expected in September 2026.
Nordic Aqua operates the first fully integrated, commercially scaled RAS farm for Atlantic salmon in China. Its business plan targets annual production of 20,000 tonnes HOG.
