Prices hold steady entering week 30.

The Norwegian salmon spot price is expected to remain flat in week 30 at EUR 5.71/kg (USD 6.53/kg), broadly unchanged from last week's EUR 5.64/kg, according to analysts.

Norwegian salmon export value in EUR terms rose 16.2% year on year in week 28, with the four-week rolling average at the same level. Export volumes reached 35,516 tonnes, up 5% year on year. The combination of higher volumes and rising prices continues to support strong export revenue growth compared to the same period last year.

Average harvest weight increased 10.4% year on year, reflecting favourable biological conditions. Analysts note that biomass levels entering the third quarter appear robust, with some upside potential to full-year harvest guidance. Growth conditions remain supportive heading into the summer months.

Each week, Salmon Business gathers salmon price forecasts from industry analysts for the week ahead. Unless otherwise stated, prices refer to Superior 3–6 kg salmon, per kilo FCA Oslo, converted using the day's average exchange rate.
