Norwegian seafood exporter and processor Coast Seafood reported pre-tax profit of NOK 124 million (€10.5 million) in 2025, up from NOK 61 million (€5.2 million) the previous year.
Revenue fell to NOK 7.3 billion (€618 million) from NOK 7.9 billion (€669 million), reflecting lower sales volumes and weaker market prices.
Coast attributed the improved result to prioritising more profitable business areas and increasing its focus on processed seafood.
“By placing greater emphasis on processed products with higher margins, we have increased profitability during a period of lower volumes and salmon prices,” CEO Sverre Søraa said.
The Måløy-based group plans to expand its range of value-added and convenience products, including ready-to-eat meals and portioned products for retail. It reported an equity ratio of 43% and employs almost 900 people.
